Making the project mascot
In October 2009 we started a contest at “Inselschule”. Our pupils had the task to draw, glue or just hand in ideas for a mascot for the Comenius-project “Let’s leave smaller footprints to save our planet Earth”. We had a lot of different works and introduced them at the meeting in October in Austria.
There the teachers discussed the different ideas and our pupils in Germany put them all together into one.
So, they cut, glued, drew and put a lot of creativity in their work. After several weeks they finished and presented a – let’s say – unconventional mascot.
It is a mascot which definitely shows the character and aim of our project and as it made of wood we can pass it from country to country without any difficulties.
The mole which is personified is set to build the bridge between nature and human beings.
There is also a working portfolio included.
