‘Rubbish’ project to help the environment

The students of the inclination differentiation group, “Nature and Environment", had the idea of doing a project on ‘Rubbish’ as a part of our Comenius programme "Let's leave smaller footprints to save our planet Earth."

As part of this rubbish has been diligently collected at home, then cleaned and used for many different creative handicrafts in the classroom. A wide variety of things were made from the rubbish, such as; accessories for Lego, a model of a city, a picture frame, a candle holder, a model of a children's paradise and glasses with coloured lenses.

In an exhibition, the students of Inselschule marvelled and admired the objects created from the rubbish.

In spring, this project will continue. We will be looking around Tӧplitz for carelessly discarded rubbish and dispose of it therefore making a small but valuable contribution to our environment.
